Rent a Travel WiFi Device & only pay for data when you need it!

Listen to your favourite playlist whilst picnicking in front of the Eiffel Tower. Watch hours of Netflix whilst at the airport waiting for your flight. Skype Mum after arriving safely. Tell Dad about the great meals you have had and the fabulous things that you have done. You can do all of this an more with Unlimited Internet  in 90 countries through your Travel WiFi device. With the Pay As You Go option simply rent the device for length on your trip, and only pay for the days that you use data.

Travel WiFi features include:

  • Connect up to 5 devices (tablet, etc) to your secure portal hotspot
  • Internet access available in 90 Countries
  • Unlimited Daily Data Access (512mb) @ $7 per day
    (charged at the end of the day)
  • Download speeds up to 150mbps on 3G/4G/LTE Networks
  • Easily rent a Travel WiFi device and post it back when you return


How does the Unlimited data allowance work?

You will get access to either 512mb  of highspeed data (3G/4G/LTE) per day and unlimited data at 200kbps after that, once your daily highspeed data allowance is exceeded.

How does Pay As You Go work?

Simply rent a Travel WiFi device for the time that you are away, and pay for Daily Data Access as you need it. When you turn on the device it will automatically connect you to data and will bill you at the end of the day for your usage. The Daily Data Access rate is $7 per day.

How soon before I fly do I need to order the Travel WiFi device?

TRVL can send devices to all Australia Post metropolitan areas. To ensure that the Travel WiFi device arrives at your postal address at least 2 days before you leave, we encourage you to place your order at least 10 days before you leave.

How can I pay for the Travel WiFi device rental and data?

TRVL accepts valid Visa and Mastercard credit or debit cards. Card holders need to be over the age of 18.

How many devices (laptops, tablets, etc) can I connect to the Travel WiFi hotspot?

You can connect up to 5 devices to the Travel WiFi hotspot at any one time– this includes laptops, mobile phones, tablets, etc

How long after I return do I need to send back the Travel WiFi device?

TRVL encourages you to post the Travel WiFi device back the day of arrival (the end of your rental term) or the day after arrival (within 2 business days).
Late fees do apply for late returns. The maximum extended rental fee for late devices is $250.

How do I upgrade my daily data allowance once I am overseas?

It is possible to increase your daily data from the 512mb option to the 1GB option via the TRVL website (upgrade data allowance).

Please keep in mind that above your data allowance (of 512mb or 1GB) you are still able to access unlimited data at 200kbps (up to 150mbps in Japan, China, Taiwan and South Korea).

Any upgrades take up to 48hours to apply and the difference in cost will be charged to your credit or debit card.

How heavy is the Travel WiFi device?

The Travel WiFi device and cable weigh 215 grams.

Who pays for postage of the Travel WiFi device to and from me?

You will pay $10 for  the delivery of the device to your postal address and TRVL will provide you with a prepaid Registered Post envelope for you to return the Travel WiFi device once you return.
Please note: You must post the device back to us in good working condition within 2 business days of the end of your rental term. When returning your device please return it in its container we sent it to you in.

What address do I return the Travel WiFi device to?

You are provided by TRVL a prepaid envelope with the address prefilled, however if this envelope has been misplaced you will be required to post it back to us at your expense.

Cost effective and reliable mobile service when travelling abroad.

From start the finish the Trvl Mobile product was a breeze to use.
